hi Darren sorry - meant to reply before now to say thanks for the cds and how much i've been enjoying them ; a revelation ... Taken together with your election comments on the website, the 2 albums have been a great inspiration and comfort - my soundtrack, in fact - over the last few weeks of political drivel. Great songs sung with passion, and with the insight and tenderness won from hard experience. (maybe soft experience too!) And the playing is so fresh for studio work - love the violin especially. Favourite songs are, er, most of them! Sunday Morning Footballer, perhaps, and most of BW, esp. Julie Rainbow and the last track. Very cheering, and also humbling, to see how you've survived all you've been through, and with a song in your heart and compassion and anger for the state of things. Keep on keeping on. i hope to catch a gig soon, though will be moving back down to Worcestershire in the summer. You'll have to start playing south of the great divide!
