Used Condom Lament - fantastic title mate. You're the new Morrissey!
24/02/2009 - Somewhere in the north of England

dp says:   Ha lol :-) As the old gag goes, "great title, shit song". Actually there's a story ... I was sat doodling with an open tuning and thinking about marketing the new collection, and wondering how I could make it attract the young and the wild, and hence the title. The song followed, and it's pretty wild it a frantic jazzy kinda way. At no point though are the words 'used', 'condom' or 'lament' to be found anywhere in the song. Oh Chester, so much to answer for ...

Really enjoyed your own music and covers - what a beautiful soft voice - and loved fact that volume meant could still talk to friends - about (among other things) how good we thought you were - hate music being too loud (and I'm not THAT old!) Hope you'll be back in The Farndon sometime!

Hi Darren
It's your old German teacher from Glossop 'stalking' you again! Somehow it's been two years since our last brief exchange. No idea where the time's gone but it's been a big (but life-enhancing) change moving from Lytham St Annes (Home of the Blue Rinse) to Chorlton . Anyway, had to get back in touch when I discovered only today that t'other half's cousin (and my new best friend - long story), the lovely Caroline Rennie is a big fan of yours. Small world and all that .
7/08/2008 - Chorlton, Manchester

dp says:   And "It's A Small World" is a Disney song I can't stop singing right now because it's one I sing with the kids I teach in school ... yes indeedy :-)

Presently planning a radio session for Caroline in the not too distant ... will have to give you a mention!
