Worried Man Blues
(Poyzer, Pigman and a gathering ...)

The accessibility and variety of material is a key asset. This has served me well throughout my writing career, at festivals (Glastonbury / Edinbrough / Belladrum etc), and in support of many top bands and artistes (Hawkwind, Capercaille, John Cooper Clarke, The Saw Doctors, Eddi Reader, Toot and The Maytals, Wishbone Ash, Glenn Tilbrook, Roy Harper, to name a few).

In the first instance, I am always a songwriter with a plethora of original, accessible songs.

The classics I've added a little spice to include:

  • Barrett's Privateers (Stan Rogers)
  • Beeswing (Richard Thompson)
  • Blowin' In The Wind - (Bob Dylan)
  • Chasing Cars (Snow Patrol)
  • Daydream Believer (The Monkees)
  • Dignity (Deacon Blue)
  • Heroes (David Bowie)
  • How Can A Poor Man Spend Such Times And Live (Blind Afred Reed)
  • Hurry On Sundown (Hawkwind)
  • It’s the End Of The World As We Know It (REM)
  • Keep On Rockin' In The Free World (Neil Young)
  • Love Will Tear Us Apart (Joy Division)
  • Mad World (Tears For Fears)
  • No Surrender (Bruce Springsteen)
  • Death To My Hometown (Bruce Springsteen)
  • One Day Like This (Elbow)
  • Out For A Smoke (The Saw Doctors)
  • Sing All Our Cares Away - Damien Dempsey
  • Sit Down (James)
  • Something In The Air (Thunderclap Newman)
  • The Ghost Of Tom Joad (Bruce Springteen)
  • The Moving On Song (Ewan MacColl)
  • What's So Funny About Peace Love and Understanding (Nick Lowe)
  • Which Side Are You On? (Florence Reece)
  • Wonderful Life (Colin Verncombe)
  • Worried Man Blues (Unknown)
