Kevin Farrell

• Recorded 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' as championed by Peter Hook (Joy Division / New Order) with Poyzer and Fluff in 2008.

Provides an awesome acoustic guitar and e-bow accompaniment to many a Poyzer live set. Kevin is in his own right a superb songwriter who writes and records outstanding epics, and who is influenced by the likes of Hawkwind, Todd Rundgren, Tom Waites, Gong and a whole host of others.

Kevin often gets asked about the 'strings / violin' sound he gets from his guitar ... well people, that's an E-Bow he's using. Google it!

I can't remember when KF and I first shared a stage together, but it was probably a Stockport Acoustica gig ... he just turned up I think having taught himself a couple of my tunes and that was that.

A rare treat comes when we do a double-header, probably because he's such a brill act that I find it difficult to follow and have to be at my very best!
