Blurb: Darren Poyzer is a rare songwriting talent, as entertaining as he is inspirational. A singer of dynamic anthems and cutting edge love song, he has appeared at prestigeous theatres and festivals across the UK (Glastonbury, Edinburgh, Belladrum etc) both in his own right and opening up the show for artistes as diverse as Wishbone Ash, John Cooper Clarke, Eddi Reader, Steve Coogan, Fisherman's Friends and Toots And The Maytals.

Performance Times: A solo performance ('public house / house concert set') is usually made up of two sets of around 45-60 minutes each. A solo concert performance ('theatre style') usually given as a support artiste, consists of one set of around 30-45 minutes. A festival set is usually between 45-60 minutes.

Performance Content: The songs are mostly original, wide ranging and accessible - see songbook - the banter is lively and family friendly, and there are a handful of classic cover versions if required to suit most occasions.

Technical Set-Up (1): I have my own equipment, ie sound system, projector and lights, to suit a small to medium sized venue, and public liability insurance should it be required. My set-up time is one hour minimum, with ground floor access and easy load-in greatly preferred.

Technical Set-Up (2): Where there is a sound system 'in-house', I require one vocal mic on boom stand, a guitar input (di), one monitor and usually 10-15 minutes sound check

Publicity: A3 colour posters, social networking support and press releases are available if required. I'm very happy to oblige with media interviews at any and every opportunity.

Fee: Always negotiable, dependent on travel from Greater Manchester and accomodation if necessary; in summer I'm a happy camper!)
