Long-time top mate, multi-instrumentalist and outstanding songwriter, Andy used to have his own band 'The Candidates', and they were one of the top local bands at The Witchwood during the 90's. Andy ventured onwards to write and record in solo guise, and ultimately was the first person with whom I duetted in the early 2000's having only previously ever performed solo. He also played a big part in launching one of the first Acoustica nights, this being the monthly event at The Blazing Rag in Mossley that had a good run over a few years.

Andy contributed piano, guitar and voice to thethree CD albums, most notably for providing one of the finest musical moments with his piano on Men And Machines.

These days Andy plays, writes and produces the excellent Manchester based band Room Thirteen.
