After a rare break from community stuff, I'm back hosting a new and exciting monthly event.

Taking place over 6 shows, on the last but one Wednesday of each month, is '3 Chords And The Truth'.

The night welcomes you with exceptional tasty creole food, courtesy of the very special Golty, and brings the open mic format into play with a cuddly host (me) playing new songs and rarities, a supersound system, pleasant atmosphere, safe car parking, and special guest artistes.

And we'll have the i-pod / mp3 / cd playlist on the go, so if there's anything you'd like us to play, bring it on.

The live stage runs from 8pm until 10pm prompt (allowing home travel time for the working population), so if you wanna catch the full show and / or play, arrive by 7.45pm please.

Our special guests Weds Feb 20th are Rob Metcalfe and Ian Scanlan, with Polly Mackey guesting on Weds March 19th, and an Oxjam Special on Weds April 23rd.

For me, Nick Harper is the ultimate singer songwriter; entertaining, poetic, intelligent, down to earth, and most certainly human. Certain to be one of the most incredible acoustic guitarists you'll see anywhere, Nick has been an inspiration to myself for many years. I also find opening the show for him to be most refreshing, a free spirited / anything poetic or chaotic affair that is always fun and high in feelgood factors.

The Brindley is also an excellent and very smart, comfortable venue, with plenty of parking space alongside.
