Taking place on the last but one Wednesday at DeBees in Winsford, the evening is hosted by yours truly and offers up fantastic creole food into the bargain. Stevo Covers 'Julie Rainbow': Have to say I'm touched and privilieged to hear that Stevo from the band Glasschild has recorded a version of 'Julie Rainbow'. Check it out here. New website - The Legendary Manchester Busker: In my role as a web designer I often get to design a site I have lots of affection for and personal interest in. None moreso probably then The Legendary Manchester Busker site, launched to commemorate 20 years since the first in a series of small theatre shows, that I occasionally took part in, that helped to launch the careers of many songwriters and comedians. Indeed that whole alternative cabaret scene of the late 1980's, of which we were a very prominent part of, was the catalyst for alternative and new comedy, and at the time at the heart of political and social awareness through entertainment.
Poyzer, Fluff and Farrell: "a real taste of clotted cream folk – complete with fiddle, rainbows and hats. The style has a slight Irish twang, seasoned with humour, and a real political aftertaste ... it was a great moment" - Middlewich Folk & Boat Festival 2007. Click here for Booking Information, Press and Promoters Kit, Music Samples, and stuff! New design: Hope you like the new design! I usually change the design every 2 years, the last one stuck around for the best part of 3, so hola! Here we go, simple and I hope effective. I'm also updating and refreshing the archives. First up will be the Videos, and the majority of these will come courtesy of the 'Global' DVD, which is of course available to purchase. |
