Join Us PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE POSTPONED ALL OUR PHYSICAL MUSIC ACTIVITY SESSIONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO COVID-19 HEALTH WARNINGS. We are however supporting young musicians with online / home learning resources, a monthly newsletter, and via our weekly StoMP Social Zoom video meetings. ~ ~ ~ Our 'Normal Service' message is as folows: Presently we have spaces for young people to join us, either on an occasional weekly basis or subscribing to term / annual plans. Your first visit is free of charge to enable you to freely join in and take a look around, and all you need to do is turn up, no pre-booking required. You will likely be welcomed by Darren, our Project Manager, and the kettle will be on and ready to ensure parents and carers get a brew if they'd like one. Following on, subs are £5 for each 2 hour session. Term and annual plans offer a discount for advance payment of subscriptions, and allow us to pro-actively plan activities and learning, looking ahead and working towards an accreditaion eg Arts Award.Activities available presently include singing, playing in a live band, instrument tuition, music technology and basic music theory. We look in the long term to deliver live performances, and participation is always optional.
Where Are We? Our base location for activities and music learning is in South Reddish, Stockport. We presently have 3 rooms in use, with Music Leaders in each, ground floor access, car park, toilets and kitchens.
