I have some daytime and evenings available for music education / music and arts projects / workshops and training delivery / preferably Greater Manchester / North Cheshire area.

I am also available for personal tuition, including young people and adults with special needs.

I have dates available to deliver a one hour presentation and / or a one day training programme titled 'Making Music Accessible'.

My primary area of work is Special Needs Music Education, having been employed in a variety of roles since 2006. My work has included:

  • Delivering Therapeutic Music Activities
  • Delivering ASDAN and AQA Accredited Music Curriculum
  • Delivering ICT Functional Skills Curriculum
  • Delivering Mixed Ability Multi-Arts Projects
  • Facilitating and Managing Live Music Performances
  • Supporting Teaching and Care Staff in Outdoor Activities and Wider Social Settings

I have also been commissioned as Project Manager for Music Leader / Brighter Sound, working alongside Youth Music (UK). My role included:

  • Delivering and Programming Music Leader Training
  • Assessing and Delivering Regional Funding Bids
  • Commissioning Research

I have also facilitated and delivered mainstream learning and activities, either with groups or on a 1-1 basis. Job roles with places I have been commissioned for mainstream provision include:

My complete history of working professionally in and around Music Industry / Local Community Arts, Design and Youth Work settings dates back to 1987.

For Accessible Web Design, I was invited to London and awarded a Visionary Design Award (UK) by the Royal National Institute of Blind People in 2003.
